It depends if you want a desktop or a laptop. Since you decided to change your original post to clarify what you meant. It would really be what you prefer. No one can answer this question but you.

The 6700hq is a notebook processor. So I am thinking that you mean the 6700 non k version. If it is strictly for gaming I would say the 6600k. I say this because you can overclock it, giving it higher fps then the 6700, and it is less expensive. For both gaming and content creation I would go with the 6700.
