I want to buy a motherboard ASUS B250M-A for a i5 7400, 8GB DDR4, GTX 1060 6GB. But it has only a CPU 4-pin connector and I saw that there other motherbards with CPU 8-pin connectors so my issue is to know if a 4-pin connector would suffice this setting. I dont want be short of power but I don't want to spend more for features I don't need. Thanks for any tip.

Solution
You are good.
If a motherboard has only a 4 pin connector, that is all it needs.
8 pin aux cpu connectors supply extra power for additional pcie slots and overclocking.
