ASUS StrixZ270E
4.2g I7-7700k
32g ram
1tb Samsung ssd
Geforce gtx 1060
I ran dual intelligent processor 5 just to look to see what the system was doing and noticed the cpu temp was in fahrenheit and showed 120.oo in red. I changed it to celsius and it is now at 32-33. Is this normal and when should I worry. I don't intend to overclock as it isn't liquid cooled and I have no clue what I'm doing. Just concerned about the heat. TIA

PS. hope I've given enough detail as this little text box is driving me crazy

Guessing you are on a phone? The text box can be expanded or dragged, possibly. Not sure. It can on a normal PC.

Completely normal temps.. There is nothing to worry about.

I might run http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/intelburntest.html. Change the stress level from standard to maximum. It might take 20 minutes for the test to complete. I would then perform a few of your normal daily productivity tasks. With 32GB RAM installed this is not a simple gaming rig. You can then post your maximum load and workload temperatures.

All we can see so far are your idle temps.. Offering those other temperatures can offer a more complete picture. A truck might run fine idling in the driveway. Going the speed limit on a highway/freeway can...

Thank you. I'm not a gamer at all but a Photoshopper. Like the original msg said. I loaded AI suite III just to see what the machine was doing, kind of getting used to it so I know what to watch out for in the line of trouble. What did you mean by,"With 32GB RAM installed this is not a simple gaming rig." Curious is all!

As long as your CPU stays under 80C everything is good. Normally it should stay under 65C. Lots of variables such as workload, ambient temp., case, fans etc..

With 32GB RAM installed this is not a simple gaming rig

Gaming PCs need a maximum of 16GB RAM. When that limit is exceeded it suggests productivity tasks like PS, editing, CAD and other non-gaming thingies.
