So ive hopped back into some Battlefield 4 recently and I am getting some framedrops/freezes. I run on high settings at 100% res scale at 1080p I believe(however GeForce experience thinks I can run it on ultra at like 150% res scale). I run it on the following specs:
CPU: Intel I7 4790k@4.0GhZ
GPU: Geforce Gtx 980Ti
RAM: 8GB ddr3
MOBO: Gigabyte Z97M-DS3H
HDD: WD 1TB 7200RPM
The disk usage usually stays maxed in BF4 as well as GTA V and some other demanding games.
My friends think I need a storage upgrade or a mobo upgrade, but I thought id come here first to see what people think. Any help is appreciated.
