Cooler: Rysen 5 1600 Stock cooler
MOBO: msi X370 Gaming Pro Carbon

Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow 2013
Mouse: Razer Naga 2014

So I feel that I am a bit screwed in this situation.

I recently blew out my old processor, (Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core), and bought the Rysen 5 1600 and had to buy an AM4 Mobo, so I got the MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon.
So, I got everything set up. I run it to the nicely laid out BIOs and it goes perfect, until I try and start up windows. It either: 1. Freezes when it says "Windows starting" and blue screens, or 2. Goes to the Windows 7 login in 800x600 resolution, but the keyboard and mouse are unusable. I've tried enabling Legacy Usb, and I've tried shuffling the boot order around, and tried safe mode, but to no avail. Other posts on this website say that it's a driver issue, and the other option is to use my Windows 7 install disc, or download a Windows 7 iso and repair install because Windows on an older HDD hardly ever works on a new Mobo. But I have no way to download the iso file to the usb, because I don't have access to another computer, and don't have a Windows 7 install disc because I (in hindsight dumb decision) decided to buy it digitally. So, I do have the license key, but no actual way to acquire the iso file to load the repair installation. So what should I do? I'm pretty frustrated and feel kind of screwed on what to do. Go to the library and download it on my usb maybe? Please help!

You need to do a clean install of Windows for such a major change in parts, all your old drivers etc are conflicting with your new hardware, hence the BSODs.

Windows 7 doesnt come with the required USB drivers etc to install or run on these newer systems.

However, MSI have a tool that will create the installation media for you and include those drivers if you really want Windows 7, its called MSI smart tool, you can find it in the utilities for your motherboard on the website.

You would be better off and much easier, just grabbing the Windows 10 ISO from somewhere and installing that, then trying to use your Windows 7 key to activate it.
