So a quick (noob) question. My ram is clocked for 1866mhz but when i open task manager it says 1333mhz. Ive read around saying to OC my ram but not entirely sure how to do this. Any help?

MSI z97 PC Mate Motherboard
Hyper X Fury 1866 ddr3 RAM
intel i7 4790 CPU
Thank you!

UPDATE: Just checked that my CPU can run a max of 1600? so does this mean that my 1866 ram wont run at 1866 at all?

My mistake, yes it is from MSI. Anyway I've tried this video before but my main problem with this is that i do not have the XMP option to enable (and yes, advanced setting is checked), and also in BIOS it says that i am running my RAM at 1866. On my task manager it does say 1333 though, and not sure why, unless what the task manager says means nothing at all...

I just changed my freq to 1600 (max my cpu supports) but left Ref clock as auto because im not sure which to use, 200mhz or 266mhz? and on task manager still says 1333
