I need help with upgrading my PC.

So basically my build is:
AMD A8-7600
GTX 1050
8GB RAM DDR 3
250 GB SSD
1TB HDD
600W PSU


So I found out that my proccesor bottlenecks my and i need help on upgrading my pc. Can someone suggest me a build that will be a good replacement for my pc? my budget is $300 and i dont have any plans on upgrading my gpu at the moment.

As the folks mention above, the Ryzen 1400 is the obvious choice.

But the problem with going to the Ryzen 1400 is that half of your upgrade money is going towards replacing your motherboard and memory, perhaps without any gain.

I'm wondering if you could make any progress just by upgrading the CPU. What's the best CPU you can put in an FM2+ socket? A10-7890K for $140? You might even be able to get one used. Do some research to see whether that gets you anywhere.

If you decide to go the Ryzen route, spend the extra $42 and get the Ryzen 5 1600 over the 1400.
