So, a bit of backstory:
I've been having problems off and on with this USB wifi receiver, along the lines of connecting to my home wifi, but saying it is an unidentified network, no internet access. Also have had a few times where there would be an IP conflict.

Anyways, so, at the recommendation of some google-fu searching, I decided to uninstall both the device and the driver. Ok, that went smoothly? Now what?
Well, I pull it out and plug it in, but am instead immediately met with "Drivers have failed to install".
TF? So I go to control panel>device manager> USB devices. It's now showing up as "USB 2.0 WLAN adapter". Ok, different name aside, I go to install the drivers through there. Nope, Windows 7 isn't having it. Ok then, that leaves me with system restore. Tried it, didn't work.

Anyone know what to do at this point?
