As the title says, I am choosing between two combinations. One is Ryzen 5 1500x with MSI 1050 ti gaming x, and the other one is Ryzen 5 1600 and MSI 1060 3G ocv1 armor. With the first combination I pay around 70€ less, which is quite a lot with my budget around 950€. I want to ask, how much of a difference does it really make in gaming?

the 1600 comes with a cooler, the 1500x doesn't

so you have to consider that money

the 1050ti is meant for high settings on 1080p

the 1060 can go up to 1440p better but you list the 3 gbs model, is preferable to buy the 6 gbs model, thanks to the extra ram and the faster gpu and more cuda cores present on it

you might find not enough in a nearer future the 1060 3gbs than the 1060 6gbs model

the 1050ti , well, if i amd considering it and the 1060, i would forget the 1050ti and find the best deal on a 1060 6gbs and perhaps mix it with the 1600 or the 1500x and a good cooler and overclock it like crazy, with a good mainboard and psu, of course

The 1500x comes with the same cpu cooler as the 1600 actually.

I bought a Ryzen 5 1500x a week & a bit ago. It came with a Wraith Spire cooler (the one without LEDs) as standard. This was in the UK I don't know if it is the same in every country though

I had a great deal with 6GB 1060 model, but it ran out of stock. Others were like 30€ more expensive so I thought about 3GB model. I will probably go with 6GB now, but what if I pick 1500x ?

1500x comes with the exact same cooler as the 1600.
Blame amd for confusing things (although the x actually stands for xtended - the x chips have an extra boost frequency on single core use)

The 1600 is a 1500x + 50% so is plainly a far stronger chip & better value.
The 1060 3gb is around 40% stronger than a 1050ti so yes that extra €70 is absolutely worth it for that combo.

If I absolutely had to compromise somewhere in between it would be a ryzen 1600 & a 1050ti

The 1600 with the 1060 is a good option. While I would say that the 6gb is the better 1060 the 3gb is still very good. It's much better then then 1050ti. I will say this with either 1060 you are not going to be playing at 1440p ultra settings while maintaining a solid 60 fps.

1050ti: 1080p mid to high 60fps ish.
1060 3gb: 1080p high to ultra 60fps ish
1060 6gb: 1080 ultra 60fps.
1070: 1440p ultra 60fps some 4K 30 fps ish
