Hello, I'm the owner of a small architectural oractice. I'm not the user of the software described however, I need to upgrade our computer to work faster. In March 2016 I bought the following which we have already outgrown

The graphics card is going to be the first thing you need to fix. For the applications you are using you should have a Quadro card. An P4000 or an M4000.
Are you using WIFI? If so, STOP. That could another issue. Do you have an SSD? If not you should.

Thank you Kane wolf for your suggestion regarding the graphics card. Yes, it is connected to WIFI, and we can easily disconnect it. Regarding SSB, this is the description of the system I have. Not really sure whether I have it or not... Apologies for my ignorence
