PC won't boot unless I leave it off for 5+ hours

Lately, I've been unable to turn on my PC unless I leave it alone for around 5 or more hours. During this time, it's plugged in and the lights on the GPU and Mobo indicate that they're getting power. If I press the power button, the power LED flashes on briefly before disappearing. The case fan doesn't spin but the CPU fan does.
For additional context, the build is 6 months old and I had a bad habit of turning off the PSU after shutting down the PC each time. Could this have led to damaging the mobo or the PSU itself?

Solution
Sounds like PSU or MotherBoard. Could be faulting in the power on sequence.

I would swap out PSU and retest, if that fails, could very well be faulty MoBo.

Your shut-off process should not have caused this problem. However, the symptom you describe sounds a little like an overheating problem. Does your machine shut itself off while you are working, especially after a long working session? If it does, and then refuses to start up again until it has cooled completely, then you have an overheating problem. Post back here whether or not that is your situation.

If it does NOT shut itself off, even after a long heavy working session, then overheating is not the problem, so tell us if that is what happens.

It doesn't shut itself after a heavy working session and I usually restart it now after a session and leave it on overnight. I did this for 5 days with no problem until the one morning afterwards it seemed to have powered off by itself and wouldn't turn on.

Not sure if this is important but, the mobo LEDs are still on and my headset/mouse are still powered (razer products) during this time. Only when I hold down the power button do they fully "power off".

It shuts off on its own overnight. As in I come back in the morning to use but the power LED is off and no display on my monitor.

Can you go into the bios and disable the C6+7 energy saving states? See if it still does it after that.

There are psu's that are not "compatible" with these deep sleeps settings, when that happens they shut the pc off because not enough power is asked and a protection kicks in. With the psu you have i think this is the case. With doing what i asked above we can determine this.

Didn't help, my pc has shutdown again and is unable to boot. I did note that the mobo tries to boot but kept turning off. As in the LEDs on it went on and off repeatedly.

Turns out mobo was faulty, got a new one for cheap and no more issues.
