I used to have a MSI Z77A-G41. Got an old MSI z77 Mpower from a friend which seemed like basically the same thing but a little more full featured. Got everything changed out, but one problem. Audio won't come out the back. I plug it in and the Windows audio manager doesn't recognize anything new.

Also realtek audio manager isn't in the quick access bar like it usually is. I download the latest version from the MSI website, but when the computer reboots (which the installer says it needs to do) it doesn't seem to be installed or working etc.

I looked at updating the BIOS but they don't have a WIndows 10 BIOS version, last version supported it says on their page is Windows 8 (also I didn't think bios had OS versions? Maybe this is just for the exe installer?).

Is this some weird firmware software issue? Really don't want to go through all the trouble of replacing my Mobo again, this is pretty annoying.

Solution
they use the same driver for it on win 7 or win 10 uninstall them and then reinstall the realtek driver the other thing did you do a full reinstall of os the with the new board the old settings might conflict with new ones .
