Good graphics card for 1440p gaming?

Yep, I'm running a GTX1080 on a 144Hz display, it's very...Pleasant.
The above having been said there's one game my system won't pretty well eat up-Ghost Recon-otherwise it's smooth sailing.
I'd only consider a used card IF it's a GTX1080Ti AND it has at least 90 days warranty because new GTX1080s are easily available for under $600 but you need to act fairly quickly. Prices are starting to creep up as the cryptocurrency craze eats up the available stock-it's virtually impossible to find a AMD 470/480/570/580 ANYWHERE in the world and the shortage seems to be pushing up the prices of Nvidia cards as builders/upgrades are being forced into the clutches of the Evil Green Team. < This last bit is sarcasm BTW.
