Solution
Switch the CPU to a Ryzen 5 1600 and use the stock heatsink. Switch the Motherboard to an MSI B350 Tomahawk or B350 PCMate. This will have the same average performance on modern games at 4K. 4K is too high a resolution for CPU performance to be much of a factor. The two are closely matched in performance when overclocked anyway. The Ryzen, motherboard and stock heatsink will knock off a fare amount of the cost.

As for the games which don't utilize all the cores that well. It really won't matter much at 4K. They tend to utilize the CPU much less so a Ryzen 1600 will perform quite well on them.

The Phanteks P400s is compatible with the MSI Mystic RGB Light Sync. You just need the cable adapter as you would for the ASUS. I don't think the case includes the adapter cables.

not to be rude in any way i just what to learn but why will this give better performance it looks great because its under budget but i was just wondering .
It won't necessarily give you better performance; realistically, it'll get you the same experience, but for less money. The reason is that despite the fact that the i5 has the potential to be faster in some games when overclocked to 4.5+ GHz, at 4k, the difference in processor speed will much less apparent due to the GPU becoming the limiting factor for performance. The only time the Ryzen 5 will give you visibly better performance is in games that can make good use of more than 4 cores.

In any case, Hellfire's build suggestion is sensible and is probably the best way you'll be able to lower you build cost while keeping the same overall performance.

Not to mention the pc will last longer while giving you good performance overall. A i5 is good when you are @1080p. For 4k it wont make much difference.

sorry for the noob questions but does the modular supply come with all the nessecry cable or do i have to buy more and velocityg4 spoke about cable adapters.

"You just need the cable adapter as you would for the ASUS. I don't think the case includes the adapter cables"

what is dose this refer to.

Depends on the ambient. If you are in a hotter region, then its imperative. More important is how you setup the fans. But it doesnt hurt to have extra cooling as the fans are relatively inexpensive.
That Phantek case has 3xFront slot which should be your intake.
1xRear slot and 2x Top slot which would be your exhaust.

The adapter I spoke of is to allow the MSI motherboard to control the RGB lighting in the Phanteks P400s. The Phanteks website lists the cable as a separate purchase.
