So a few days ago i bought my new pc (with an i7 6700k and Kraken x52) and when it was ready to use i installed some of my games. At this time i noticed that something was wrong because while games were installing, cpu temperatures reached 95C-100C. Also when i was playing csgo, temperatures were at ~70C (sometimes 80C). So i decided to use another thermal paste. After that temperatures seems to be a bit lower but still high compared with many others. What im thinking is to undervolt my cpu a bit to 1.2v (it is at 1.37v while playing) if this doesnt work i honestly dont know what i will do. Can someone recomiendo me to do something? Btw english isn't my native language. Also im a novice at this.

I appreciate every single tip.
Thanks!

Solution
Did you properly make all the necessary electrical connections as per the instruction sheet?
USB, SATA, and fans?
Did you install the software to enable the controls?

So it is a problem of the cooling setup or it can be a problem of the cpu (defective)?
Btw the temperatures when im at the desktop are ~45C with peaks of 60C. Also have to mention that the ambient temperature is ~30C

I seriously doubt that the CPU is defective. More likely the cooler is incorrectly mounted, poorly applied TIM, or wrong temp readings. What app are you reading from and are you sure you are looking at core temps?
Let me take a moment to look into the Kraken x52 wiring specs.

Everything is connected and the App im using to track the temperatures is CAM. And i think it shows the temperatures correctly (i just touched it). Also a few hours ago i noticed that the fans were in silent mode. I switched to performance mode. I will play and do some stress test tomorrow but i dont think this will make a huge difference.

Btw what do you mean with the cooler is incorrectly mounted? There's only one way to mount it right? Tell me if you need a photo of the inside of the pc

Yes, there is only one right way to mount it. If you followed the instructions and the coolant pump/heat sink is tightly mounted to the CPU, it should function as intended. If not, you may have a defective unit.
