Hi all, currently I am having trouble with my PC because all of the ports stopped working all of a sudden.

The situation goes like this: I was playing some games on steam last night and then after I finished I exited out of the game and all of a sudden my computer turns off and I turned it back on only to find that none of the ports are working.

My specs are:

Z87M Motherboard
i5-4440
750W PSU

I've tried resetting the CMOS, taking it all apart and putting it all back together, making sure everything was connected properly, and making sure that everything is enable in BIOS.

Also in my device manager, the USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller Properties apparently cannot start. I've tried disabling it and enabling it and also uninstalling it completely, but it still has that yellow ! next to it.

Only two USB ports on the back work, even the Ethernet port isn't detecting my cable and I can't access the internet.

Any help would be appreciated!

You've done about everything I could think of. Sounds like you may need a replacement motherboard. The Z87's are impossible to get but here is a H87 that should be a reasonable replacement feature wise beings the 4440 doesn't overclock.

Motherboard: ASRock - H87M Pro4/ASM Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($72.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $72.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
