Unexpected shutdowns and now no post

Everything started 2 weeks ago with recurring unexpected dirty shutdowns. The shutdowns didn't seem to have any consistency as to system load. They happened while gaming, while browsing or while system was idle in different time intervals ranging from 5 minutes to a couple of hours. Event log simply registered unexpected shutdown. I checked CPU, GPU and Mobo temperatures and everything was within normal range. After a couple of days system failed to post completely (no power whatsoever) and I suspected a dead PSU. At the time I had a Corsair 750TX v2 installed so I took it out and did the paper clip test which confirmed the PSU was dead (No fan response).

A couple of days later I got my new EVGA PSU installed and booted the system. Everything worked fine for a couple of hours and then the system started to shut down unexpectedly again. Mobo was posting multiple debug codes (15, 20, 55, 3b, 32, long 4F, 61, 62, 72, 9A, 98, 96, long b2, long 99, long A2). I started elimination process and got down to barebones (PSU, Mobo, and CPU + Fan) and reset CMOS. System booted and after 5 minutes unexpectedly shut down again!
Last night I re-installed all components and booted the system. It stayed on for a good 30 minutes and I decided to shut it down on my own for once which I did. This morning I tried booting but no response. Removed new PSU to do paper clip test and fan works.

Since I already tested down to PSU, mobo and CPU, and since my PSU is new and working, is it safe to assume that it's the mobo or CPU?
The only other possibility I can think of would be power surges that killed my previous PSU and are now starting to kill my new PSU and system...

Any suggestions before I take it to a shop?
