1. CORSAIR Hydro series H110i
2. CORSAIR Hydro series H100 v2
3. CORSAIR Hydro series H115i

The mobo that's in the rig is the AMD B350, I know I'll have to purchase an additional bracket from Corsair's site to fit the AM4 chipset. Moreover, I was also recommended the H115i and was told that specific cooler for the 1600X would be overkill. I don't have many choices because these purchases must be made through Bestbuy, I have a gift card through them. And yes, I will be overclocking the 1600X.

I appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

100i is the the 240mm version meaning if your case has space only for two 120mm fans, that's the one you go with. If you have a bigger case that can take 2x140mm fans in front or back, you go for the 280mm version (make sure to check if your case can take the width of the radiator from the manufacturer's page for the case first). 110i and 115i are very similar beasts, the 115i apparently containing some improvements on pump design, but otherwise pretty much the same thing. If money is not an issue, get 155i, why not. All 3 are good though, stand out among other liquid coolers because of their 5 year warranty, which is rare on AIOs as their pumps tend to fail a lot, and tubing/joints sometimes leak.

liquid cooling Ryzen is overkill. It will only overclock to 3.9-4.1GHz at best with a decent cooling solution. Also, you will get about the same overclock using a 1600, and it comes with a CPU cooler. Evo 212 has shown a reduction of ~20 degrees C at full load over stock cooler that comes with the 1600. This is good enough to get maximum clock with ~65C at full load. Save the money get the 1600, and put the money into a better video card or better quality high speed RAM.

Well first off, I was told that air cooling for overclocking a 1600X isn't good enough, and I should liquid cool. Secondly, I'd rather use the 1600X, money isn't the issue here and that wasn't the question I asked. The GPU inside is a GTX 1080 and the RAM will be replaced at some point-- I appreciate the suggestion.

The point I'm trying to make is that any of the water cooling solutions will easily cool the 1600X, so pick the cheapest solution of the three. With Ryzen they are all the same CPU with different core count except for the 1400. They all will overclock the same except the X "some" have been known to overclock 100MHz better and hit 4.1GHz. Ryzen doesn't get as hot as you were told. They actually run very cool, and require very little voltage increase to overclock. Trying to overclock beyond the individual CPU's limit weather it's 3.9,4.0, or 4.1GHz will make the system unstable regardless of how much voltage you apply.

No problem. I've been study technology for more than 30 years, and building computers for over 25 years.

I'm using the Wraith Spire on my 1600X and it sits at 33*C Idle and about 50*C while gaming, with random spikes up to about 58*C.
Works fine.
