I recently bought a PNY GeForce GTX 1050 ti gpu only to realise during instilation that my power supply doesn't have the 6 pin power cord to power the gpu. Nor does it have the wide 4 pin plug. So my question is can i run the overcooked gpu without the external power or will I have to buy a converter to power it with sata (which I would like to avoid)? Thanks for the help.

I would think PNY added the 6 pin because the extra power had to be used. If you need an ATX power supply there is a deal on a good Seasonic.
