PC crashes while doing Benchmarks at High Settings

So I just built a new computer with an AMD Radeon 480, amd ryzen 1700x, asrock taichi mobo, 3200mhz corsair vengeance ram, and a thermaltake contac 12 cpu cooler with a corsair 600 watt psu. When running unigine benchmarks such as valley or heaven at high settings at 1080p the benchmark will crash, and power to the keyboard and mouse will be cut. The pc will continue running normally with the exception of a small part of my mobo that flashes zeros, and the fact that no signal is being sent to my monitor. My CPU temps and gpu temps are fine during the benchmarks-and the pc should not be pulling more than 600 watts. Can someone please help?

NOTE: I just tried again and it seems to be crashing on games too. Im really not sure what is causing it.

Thanks, I'll try that. This is my first build so I wasn't exactly sure how to clear cmos-but a quick search and I figured it out.

Hey, I cleared cmos but I am still encountering the same crashes. The fans and lights stay on but all my peripherals shut off. The manual says 00 is a cpu issue, but usually most who receive it have problems posting-not crashes in game.

Set ram at the right speed? Probably need to look into an OC section of the motherboard and look for DOCP,use the right settings/profile for your ram.

Can you test with another psu? I think you probably use the Corsair CX 600 which isn't considered the best and could well be the culprit as well. Look at a friend or local shop for another psu ...

If not having problems in the bios make sure you get the latest one. With Ryzen new biosses get out at a frequent rate.
To update the bios download the latest bios file, unpack it (it comes as a zip file) ,put it on an empty usb stick and go intot he bios.look for the bios flash tool there and go through the steps. Don't interupt the process even if taking a while.

Hey, I did what Dr. Debug said and re-seated the cpu, but no change. The corsair psu was used in a friend's build for about 2 months b4 he gave it to me. It worked fine for him-so I doubt that the psu is the cause of the problem. I believe it is the RAM as well, b/c if I recall correctly ryzen does not support ram above 2667mhz. My theory is the ram is causing something weird to happen with the processor and that is why in games or benchmarks when the settings are high it causes a system crash.

NOTE: I changed ram speed down to 2400mhz, and unfortunately I'm still getting crashes

Can you make a log,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run",
at the bottom of the window click "logging start",
choose a name and place for the log like "hwinfolog" at the "desktop",
this log can be viewed/opened with either excel from Microsoft or libre office calc.
you can upload it onto a site which facilitates this like SaberCatHost or DropBox,these i like since not so much (or any) spam comes with these.

I still consider the psu a part that can make this happen. That it did fine in your friends build doesn't mean it works as well in yours.
