I have upgraded to Windows 10 without an issue. The problems started after the update has completed. Prefetch folder keeps getting corrupted. I have used chkdsk to fix it, but the problem keeps returning. Windows Resource Protection didn't find any integrity violations which is good. Chkdsk /f /r was not able to fix the corruption.

I have ran a S.M.A.R.T test Power Cycle Count attribute is below 97%. I think my heard drive is on it's way out this is why chksks can't fix it. Any advice is welcome.

I have deleted the Prefetch yesterday. Hopefully this will solve my problem. I don't think it was corrupting because the drive is dying.
