Looking for the best GPU to pair with this setup. Trying to keep it under $200. I will be looking to upgrade in the future, but trying to keep it cheaper for now.

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB30 Gaming 3

  2. RX 580s are wildly overpriced at the moment, with that budget I'd advise waiting for GPU prices to drop a bit, or to save $30 more for a 1060 3GB.

  3. 1060 3gb....for the win!
  4. I'm with Chugalug_ on this one.... unless you're needing to build the computer right now. I'd hold off, when this GPU shortage ends, the prices will go back down & you'll get much more value for your money.
  5. valur 4 $ = WIN!!!!!
  6. Please stop with those posts.... the second one barely even makes sense. :C

How much time am I looking at here? I was planning to build the computer over a 1 month or so span.....longer?
  8. 2-4 weeks should be long enough, production will catch up most likely, especially since Nvidia are making specially designed cryptomining cards which are on the way.
  9. It's not really Manufactures catching up, it's the demand, soon as cryptocurrency (pyramid scheme) crap flops, supply will increase.
I' am going to build within the next month and am getting a $150 +/- card for now, when prices come down I'll take that card, try to Ebay it, if no success, I'll just put it in this HP Pavilion I have now.
There is no way I'm forking out $400-$600 for a gpu, I work for a living and will wait...
  10. I got to say due to bit mining the only good card under $200 is the 1050ti. I'm not saying its the only card under $200 but well yes its the only card under $200 unless you want the $100 1050.

If you're planning to upgrade in the near future then this would be the best option right now.
  13. Terribly priced, that's $160 for a $120 card. Wait a little longer and 1060 3GB prices will drop.
