1tb drive only shows 500gb

idk if i did an wrong format on it , also it shows 1tb in the boot menu some friends of me told me about Reformatting my hardrvie but i got no idea how to do that

If using windows 10, right click the start menu, select disk management, in the new window that opens up, have a look at the drive, see the picture below and tell me if one of them looks like as in the picture, half blue, half black bar:
