Is this build compatible? Am I missing anything?

Im going to be running games and virtual machines on this pc. Do all the parts work together or is there anything I am missing? Also intel optane would that be of any benifit to this system?

Looks fine, but instead of getting 4x8GB kit change that to 2x16GB.

The MB and CPU will only do dual channel.

I would recommend taking a (2x8) 16GB kit. 16GB RAM can handle anything, 32GB is more than enough.

Thanks. 16 gb is not enough for what I plan on doing im going to get 32 gb ram then test it if I need more Ill just get the second 32gb ram kit by using your suggestion but with a 2x 16.

It will work fine, but I doubt you will need 32GB of ram, same some money and get faster ram, DDR4 3000 or 3200.

Always thought if I needed more I can always add more later, another 16 GB since I am running 2x8GB now.

Been doing that for YEARS and never needed more so when I did my new build I got 16 GB as usual.

It will do a lot more than 2400, with the Z270 chipsets you can enable the XMP profile for the memory and it will run full speed.

Yes i mean only the cpu the 7700k is limited to 2400 according to intels specs. Also I plan on running nox (android emulator) at the same time as all the other stuff

I have a 7700K and am running DDR4 3000 memory, it can take up to DDR4 4133.
