Sell i7 4790 non K for cheaper cpu?

Ok so I have an i7 4790 non K and I am thinking of selling it and buy something cheaper for a bit lower performance. Should I do it and if yes what cpu do you reccomend? My mobo is GA-H81M-DS2

Keep your i7 4790. Downgrading the cpu will cause you the need to upgrade in in the near future. Keep saving your money and just upgrade the graphics card in the future.

Well I don't see the point because your going to get at best 2/3rd of the retail for it and you have to go through the trouble of finding a buyer. By the end you end up basically downgrading with little to no profit. Why out of curiosity do you want to downgrade?

Honestly the cost out way the benefit in this case. You have a good CPU I would try and sell the GPU and put money towards the new GPU but with the mining going on right now GPU prices are at an all time high not a great time to upgrade unfortunately.
