I've been looking around for some cheap ram for my ax370 gaming 5 Mobo setup and its proving very difficult. I can only go with white led ram or white strips of ram so it doesn't wreck the look of my computer which are all over £120 and coincidentally the only colors they dont do in the cheaper 8gb sets are black... I've come across a set of ADATA XPG Z1 in white but its clocked at 2400mhz would it be possible to push the RAM to 3000-3200mhz without increasing the voltage into risky territory? And if its possible how would i got about it.

Thanks for your replys guys i went with the 2400 mhz ADATA XPG Z1 in the end. Lucky for me the only cheap ram available happens to be very good at overclocking and the only ram thats not problematic on the ryzen platform. I went onto a another forum earlier and found that this ram can push all the way to 3300mhz without any issues. One guy on youtube had the 2400Mhz and latency of 16-16-16 the XPG Z1 and overclocked it to 3000Mhz at the same latency or 2666mhz at 15-15-15. And its only cost me £50 for 8GB!

the 2400 is already overclocked and that's what the manufacturer has says it is good for. If you want to reach speeds of 3000-3200, then you will need to purchase memory that is rated for that overclock. I haven't heard of people overclocking memory above what it is rated, probably because it makes very little difference in performance.

That's fantastic. Just be careful with the voltage:)
