Hi, I want to be able to do some 1080p screen recording, not gaming - record full screen powerpoint presentation - my screen resolution is 1680x1050 - so not a real FULL HD.
The thing is when I record full screen - go slide by slide - transitions and animations that I have used in presentation - do stutter and lag a little bit - not that much but is is visible - and in the created, recorded video it is much, much more visible.

My pc spec :

Intel Xeon E5450 3000 MHz (stock - no oc )
Asus P5KPL-AM IN/ROEM/SI
4 GB ddr2
HDD - Maxtor 6V200E0 200gb 7200 RPM SATA II
Geforce 9500 GT 1 GB
Win 7 64 bit

What is problematic in this config ? Or what software could I use ?
For recording I used camtasia, checked some other software but it was worse.

Would be nice to hear some advice.
Thank you.

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I found some vidoes on youtube, like this one for example :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5jf4JXhs2k

It shows that this CPU is capable of recording 1080p while gaming right ?
I just want to record 1680x1650 screen in high quality - not gaming just powerpoint so - should be much easier right?

I am thinking about changing GPU or HDD what would be better to check first ?

HDD benchmark from HDD Tune shows stuff like this :

Transfer rate :
Minimum : 30.0 MB/sec
Maximum 72.4 MB/sec
Average : 54.3 MB/ sec

Access Time : 15.5 ms
Burst Rate 150.2 MB/sec
CPU Usage 4.0%

From what I have been reading this is not really good, right ?

Thanks
