Hi.
My wife and i are visiting relatives in Lithuania, they have fibre broadband provided via a single Ethernet cable ,no router or anything just an Ethernet cable they plug into the PC for internet,it is fast and reliable but wanted to upgrade it to wifi,so i bought a wifi router with wan port. Zte h298n.
The wifi doesnt work if Ethernet cable is plugged into router wan port ,it says there is no internet. It does work tho when plugged into lan port but with slower speeds and only one device allowed as it is just a bridge.
Can anyone help me setup a wireless network from ethernet broadband?
Cheers

They will have to check with their Internet service provider to determine what restrictions they have and if it is possible to add a wireless router.

In such situations I have used a connected computer that also has a wireless card and the program Connectify to share a connection. It is fairly inexpensive and you can trial it prior to purchase.
