I have an issue with an old smartphone and was was wondering if anyone could please help. My phone is a Samsung GS4 using a Verizon sim card. I had this phone deactivated a few years ago and have since moved on to an S6, S7 and now an S8. Now I am trying to use my S4 on my home Wi-Fi (comcast) but when I turn on it goes to an activation screen which I can't get past. Is there anyway to bypass the activation so that I can use my S4 again on Wi-Fi instead of just an old paperweight? Appreciate any help. I've tried a few different methods from a search on the internet (ie: touching 4 corners of phone, typing *#TESTMODE on emergency call screen...etc) and nothing works. If I remove sim card then it just says no sim card found. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help.
