hello- I have a sfp glc-ex-smd but not compatible with cisco sw 2960x-24ts-ll what the solution

Cisco and a bunch of other commercial vendors are extremely greedy when it comes to SFP. You can get pretty much identical sfp made by finisar, they put some type of special rom in them that the vendors read to see if they are official parts. Other than that they are the same from what I can tell.

It is extremely hard to tell what is compatible with what. Even between lines of switches that HP makes SFP will come up and say unsupported even though the SFP has a HP logo on it has the same exact specs as the supported part. It is just from a different line of their switches

Although cisco does not support it there are lists of third party SFP that work in certain equipment. I would only go that route if this is for personal use...
