Current PC (These are all the specs i know right now, if you need more just ask and i can try to get them):
Intel core i5-4460 3.2ghz
Nvidia 750ti 4gb
16gb ram (i think it's ddr4)
this is just a quick post, but since i don't know what to list please ask and i can find it.
i currently have £400 (can go higher, but i wouldn't like to) , but i don't want to max it out. Any advice on what to upgrade/do?

Solution
In what way is your pc not doing the job?
If gaming, what types of games do you play?
Fast action shooters need fast graphics cards.
Sims, strategy and MMO types need fast individual cores.

If you have not already done so, spend some of your budget on a SSD for windows.
240gb is minimum. Samsung EVO is good for performance and reliability.

If you upgrade the graphics card, make it at least a three tier jump to something like a GTX1050ti.
Here is a tier list:

Your best cpu upgrade options will depend on your motherboard and the games you play.
CPU-Z will identify the make/model of your motherboard.
I would just wait for now. You CPU and RAM are quite good. You only really need to upgrade your GPU. However, the prices are jacked up because of supply and demand for mining. I would go with a GTX 1070 which is around your 400 mark, some used to be as low as 379. I would NOT buy a RX 480/580 or GTX 1060 for more than 275, but if you are TRULY wanting to game, then go for it.

You could get a GTX 1050 Ti, but you will only see a small increase since it's a bit similar to your current card. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-750-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-1050-Ti

Again, I would wait until the prices come down.

Thanks, i was thinking about getting a new gpu but there's no significant difference unless i get past the 250 mark
How long do you think it will take for prices to drop?

I play games like PUBG, Overwatch (A bit), Gta 5, BF1, DS3
I have this https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Internal-Solid-State-Drives/Crucial-BX100-SATA-Internal-Solid-State-Drive/B00RQA6TEI right now, but its full of crap files and system files, and some space for games. System info also says this: samsung HM320II - but i don't know what it is. SSD?
1050 ti won't make much difference i think, i might have to go a bit higher.
thx for advice.
