Hello. Today i was trying to fix my cable management inside my case, which i wish i never done xD. I have two Nzxt fans that are powered thorugh a 2 pin molex connector i think its called. I was unlucky enough to drag out the cables from the plastic thing, as shown om the pictures. Does anyone know where these molex "pins" should be connected? I can see that there are numbers from 1-4 om the plastic thing, which one should be connected to which?

If you have any questions just ask, ill hopefully be answering them fast as i wont be able to use my PC for now.

Solution
Molex pinout:
Pin #1 - +12V
Pin #2 - ground
Pin #3 - ground (missing from your connector)
Pin #4 - +5V (missing from your connector)

Fan pinout:
Pin #1 - ground
Pin #2 - +12V
Pin #3 - RPM
Pin #4 - PWM (missing from 3-pin fans)

You need to connect dislocated wires to Pin #1 and #2 by making sure that the ground wire from fans (pin #1) connects to the #2 on molex connector. If you get it wrong and connect it the other way around then you'll reverse the polarity of all connected fans and fry them (since fans aren't designed to work with reversed polarity).

By looking your images, especially 2nd image, the wires with white/grey side are ground wires from fans.

Thank you for a good answer :) there is one thing though, i did not understand the part about the ground wire #1 connects to the molex connector #2 if not the fans will Get fried. Do you know if someone has made a video about this? I really dont want to det my fans xD

If you don't want to go through the hassle of repairing it by yourself due to the risk of switching polarity, buy a new adapter,
amazon: https://www.amazon.com/ExtremeMod-Computer-Connector-Y-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B00DU8ZZ0O

As far as fixing it goes, it isn't hard to use Google to find plenty of videos about it. Here's one such video,

And a close-up image of tabs you need to bend out,

Didn't thought my explanation was that complicated though. In any event, did draw an image about what i said,

Next time, don't pull from the wires when you need to disconnect a connector. Always pull from the connector itself. Molex connectors do need some muscle power to connect and disconnect them. Wiggling helps.
