so the thing is, that i want to upgrade my ram from 8gb to 24gb by buying (16X1)GB in addition to my (1x8GB). I have checked the offical website about some specifications and i found out that i need an 16gb DDR4 2133MHz SODIMM. I have no clue or whatsoever if this is true. Can anyone help me? my laptop name is: GE72 6QC-022NL Apache. https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GE72-6QC-Apache.html#hero-specification

Would be 24 too much? shall i go with 16 in total?

thanks already

You would be better off getting the exact same make and model ram you already have. If you can't you should replace all of your ram. Running in mixed mode (like different models/capacity etc) is generally a bad idea. It likely will not work at all and if it does you will face a performance penalty for doing it. Always run the exact same make and model ram in all your ram slots.
