AGP PC Build - Compatible CPUs?

I need a PC with an AGP slot for a project. Due to this being phased out in the early 2000s, my used PC options are fairly limited. Rather than paying the current asking prices for this hardware in good condition (Dimension 4600s seem to be my best option and still going for around $100) I'm leaning toward just building something. Looking at purchasing the motherboard below. I was going to put in a Pentium D, but it looks like this might support a core 2 duo or core 2 quad as well? Was hoping someone could recommend the best processor for this board. Thanks in advance!

http://www.asrock.com/mb/via/4coredual-sata2/ This is better has agp very rare to find a agp that support a quad core but this is one would be good the one you sent only supports up to Pentium d extremes. It not easy to find one you have to keep looking.

Thanks for the information on the other board, this board looks great! If I'm going to put the time into building something, might as well at least try to squeeze 4 cores in it so that it could be useful for other things. Any leads on where I might find one of these? I searched around and all I could find was 1 on eBay listed for parts / not working.

Edit: Just re-read the end where you said they were hard to find :). Thanks for your time!

Yes I was looking at that too but the not working one you maybe able to fix if you can get it for a lower price than it possible to fix, and here https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X4CoreDual-SATA2.TRS0&_nkw=4CoreDual-SATA2&_sacat=0 there a few but they are all in different countries I'm not sure if they can ship to you.
