How to Sync My Smart Remote With My HTPC Build?

Hey folks. I just built my first HTPC running Windows 10 and Kodi as my media front end. I just need a nice remote to run it with (I have a media keyboard, but it's too big and clunky for the wife).

I have a 60' Vizio Smart HDTV that came with a double-sided remote (normal keys on the front, keyboard on the back). It would be super nice if I could somehow run Kodi using this existing remote I already have in my living room. Can it be done? I'd want to keep the functionality of both sides intact and usable in the interface for typing and navigating. If so, what would I need? Screenshot attached.

Thanks!

Solution
Start with getting a USB Infrared Receiver. Plug it into your Kodi, fire up some LIRC scripts, and do the mapping. I don't think there is plug-and-play solution for that.

I'm using Windows MCE remote (Xbox controller works as well) with similar setup.
