This hard drive is 7/8 years old and power on time is 761 days.

No, it's not all good, there were some bad blocs and were relocated to a hidden, free space all disks have. Bad blocks were taken out of use. If it wasn't some SW problem it's likely it will develop more bad blocks/sectors and after all spare space is filled up, they'll stay bad.
