Cleaning out a new loop

Solution
People recommend using white vinegar but before putting it all together, and then flush with distilled water, however, if you have already put the loop together, just flush everything with distilled water.

To leak test it, put some paper towels or similar under all the joints, then you can either power the pump with a separate Psu, or disconnect the 24pin and 8 pin from your motherboard, also disconnect the drive power cables, so that the only thing getting power is the pump, you then need to short your psu 24pin connector with a paperclip or similar, short the green wire with one of the black ground wires next to it, this will allow power to pass to the molex connectors, and run the pump for a few hours, I test mine overnight for...

Of course this is assuming your pump uses a molex connector for power, if not, you may have to get a converter to get it run in, ie 4pin or 3pin to molex.
