I know this is kind of a stupid question but when a games says you need 3gb of free space does that mean that you will need 3gb of space just to download it or you need 3gb of space to download + install it?:??: And after I've installed the game can I delete what I've downloaded afterwards?
Thanks in advance!:bounce:

The install will always be +/- the quoted amount of space, thats why alot of games say "minimum of x disk space" required. But no, do not delete the downloaded files to do with that game, otherwise it will cease to exist.

Hope this helps.

Not many games have their own downloads anymore, thus the space required should be after installation. (not that games install either, they just add shortcuts, see steam/origin for example)

Thus.. downloading games sounds a lot like piracy (excluding few games that require you to download installers) but for them, the requirement is for the game, not installer files.
