hey guys i just bought a new hdd and installed os and all drivers after 2 hours of using it goes into S. M. A. R. T problem saying bad status or replace i turned of secure boot and my system booted up will this problem of smart will continue? its wd hard drive im asking cause i bought this product from far pls reply :)

Sounds like SMART was reporting an error because the cable wasn't connected correctly, or something to that effect. You're probably fine :D

hey bro thnx for ur time just wanted to let you know that i have changed the sata cables and turned on secure boot now it ain't showing any smart problem i ran malwarebytes no threat has been found and done chkdsk in cmd nothing found and my hard drive is not making any weird sounds its silent should i still need to give it back or is it sata cable problem?

hey bro pls tell me m i really fine cause i switched my new motherboard sata cable which is asus with intel. motherboard sata cable im anyyoyed to put any more money on this pc help. will. be appreciated :)

yes dud i turned on secure boot after putting on my gigabyte motherboards sata cable no smart problem occurred i booted into Windows without any problem is it bad to use one motherboards sata cable to other one?

For the most part, a sata cable is going to be a sata cable. If it works it works. I'd just leave everything how it is if there isn't a problem, and there definitely isn't one here, I think

k bro just to let u know asus as sata white cable which is 6gb/s and now i connected gigabyte motherboards sata cable of red cable to asus which is 3gb/s it won't damage my motherboard right?

No, those numbers refer to transfer speed. The red cable is slower than the white one.

I might be worth trying the white cable again, to see if you can get it to work. The speed difference probably won't be all that noticeable though

hey bro i run the hdtune u told me to run nothing bad or damaged blocks detected but again my cpu is showing this power supply surges detected during previous power on asus antisurge was trigger
with smart problem again status bad, backup and replace what do i do
