So I am replacing my old motherboard with a newer and more updated one but I came across a few plug ins I have not seen. They say: Power SW, + p LED, - P LED, Reset SW, and HDD LED. What do these plug ins do and do I need them plugged in and if so where on my motherboard can I plug them in.
These are front panel switches - they are the connectors for the power switch, reset switch, power LED + and -, and the hard drive activity LED. They go usually to the bottom right of your motherboard, when looking such a way that RAM slots look vertical and PCI-E slots look horizontal.

^In this picture, the area labelled F_PANEL1 is where these connectors will go(again, located at the bottom right). Which connector goes where is usually mapped just around these pins, and if it is not, it might be at the back of the motherboard or in the motherboard manual. That should help you figure out which connectors goes into what pin.
