Hello!
First of all, sorry for my somewhat broken English, I am not a native.

So, I own an Asus K75VJ
Nvidia GT635M
Intel HD4000 Graphics
I7 3630QM
4GB RAM

Since i own this Laptop the GPU hasn't worked once. I'm quite sure i tried all drivers available online. I tried the Asus drivers. Nvidia drivers. Used more than one Driver updater tool.
I was keen on making it work because as soon as i launched a game. (even a game that only used the HD Intel Graphics) I would get a BSOD. I deleted all my NVIDIA drivers. After this i could play my games for a day or two but then the Nvidia drivers would download again automatically. To prevent this. I used DDU driver unistaller software and I deleted every file that had NVidia in it on my PC. (stupid move ofcourse but i was fed up with the BSOD's)It worked. It didn't update the drivers anymore. I've been doing some low-end games with this for a while. But yesterday i saw that asus offered an bios update for my Laptop. (i don't know why i didn't do this before). I did the update expecting all the trouble to go away. But when i now try to install the NVIDIA drivers i get an error "Installer Cannot Continue The Graphics Driver Could Not Find Compatible Graphics Hardware Installer"

I tried a few fixes:
- I tried installing other Drivers.
-Tried updating it manually. But it isn't shown in my Device manager either.
-I ran this command already in CMD
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

Someone suggested switching to my Nvidia GPU in my BIOS. Sadly enough there are no settings in BIOS that allow me to do so.

Is there anyone that knows how to fix this.
It would be greatly appreciated

Thijs

Have you update your laptops motherboard bios? Check to see if you have bios 234 and if not update may help. Download and extract to get file K45VMAS.234 and copy it to a USB. Then boot up bios and goto adavanced then select start easy flash. While doing this make sure your laptop is plugged into power because a loss of power or crash could be bad. For more info see your manuals page A-15.

Make sure when selecting drivers off Nvidia's webpage that your are getting the notebook version not the regular ones. The regular drivers are for desktop graphics cards.

Have you owned this laptop since it was new or is it a second hand laptop. Its almost acting like the GT635m card is bad, the laptop will work with the intel on chip gpu but when switching over to the NVidia card is when it has issues.

I had the same problem it happen after i messed with the registry i found that the pci driver was corrupted the driver was listed on device manager with a yellow mark "intel xeon proccesor e3 120 v3/4th gen core proccesor pci express x16 controller 0c01" i rolled back the driver and then the device manager detected my graphics card wich is a gtx 765m and reinstall the gpu drivers automatically when i open geforce experience, check if any other of yours drivers are corrupted and reinstall or rollback hope this work for u!!.
