Will a H115i fit in an NZXT Phantom 530?

Solution

To answer your question directly, yes, it will fit.

I always say go to the source.

From https://www.nzxt.com/products/phantom-530: Extensive liquid cooling support includes Kraken X31/X41/X61 all-in-one solutions and radiators of up to 360mm in size

From http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h115i-280mm-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler: A 280mm radiator and dual SP140L PWM fans provide the extreme cooling you need for highly overclocked CPUs

Is 280mm (h115i) < 360mm (case) ? Yes it is. So it will fit.

My thing is, do you actually need one?

Where do you intend to put it ? Here's what NZXT web site says... unfortunately doesn't give dimensions on its specs page, the info prolly available somewhere tho if ya search for it. It does say that it fits 360mm .... but that is of no real use to you as that means it fits 120 x 360mm ... your chosen cooler is only 280mm long but its 140mm or more wide and there's no mention of support of anything that wide that i saw..... fits 140mm fans, but how wide is the rad ? Corsair doesn't say.

Fan Support
Front 2x140mm/ 120mm or 1x200mm (1 x 200mm included)
Rear 1x140mm (included) / 120mm
Bottom 2x120mm Side 1x140mm
Top 2x200mm/ 140mm or 3x120mm
Interior 1x120mm/140mm

But you have the case so all you would need need is a tape measure. except for the fact that Corsair is also cheap with th especs

In any case, I would strongly advise that you forget about the H115 and use a "real" AIO water cooling systems. The Corsair CLCs suffer from weak pumps and aluminum radiators . Depending on which one you choose, it's either the same or $10 more for ....

- All copper / brass radiator for better thermal performance
- All components of the system a custom water loop quality components pre-assembled at the factory
- You get a reservoir
- You can add your GFX card(s) to the system
- No galvanic corrosion due to mixed metals like the Corsair
- Better thermal and noise performance
- Better aesthetics
- They publish the dimensions so you can determine fit.

Both of which demolish the H115s performance

Careful.....280mm is NOT < 360mm. The 280mm radiator will be wider. A case that can fit a 360mm radiator (long and narrower) won't always fit the wider 280mm radiators, though they typically do.

This is true, however, according to the manual, it can handle a depth of 143mm, including the fans.

However, I agree with your earlier post about going with a different AIO altogether.
