hello folks, i have asked about this already about a month ago or so but please bear with me

i have upgraded my system to a newer build:

KINGSTON 8GB DDR4-2666MHz NON-ECC CL 15 kit2
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Gigabyte GA-AB350M-HD3.

i used my old 650W PSU as well as my old GTX 960 windforce GPU

long story short, all the new components arrived and i put everything together. got a black screen. came on this forum asking whats up with that and got a few suggestions. i tried several things like mounting just one ram stick, unplugging everything except the bare minimum still had the same problem. so i brought the whole PC to my local PC shop to let them have a look but they couldnt help me either. so i contacted support for the website where i purchased all the items and got them all replaced.

i had to downgrade to a R5 1500x because they dont sell the 1600 anymore.
it all arrived today and its the same story. put everything together just to be greeted by a black screen again.

at this point i just wanna curl up and cry and throw my PC out the window. i really have no idea what is wrong and the only thing i can think of is that some of the components are not compatible.

i would be really gratefull for some tips on how to find out if,say, the memory isnt compatible with the motherboard for example.

thank you for your time.
