Hi! This is my first time building a computer and I was just wondering if anybody would be willing to point out any errors I have made or if anybody has any suggestions. Here is my current build:
Processor: Intel Core i7-3820 Quad-Core Processor 3.6 GHz 10 MB Cache LGA 2011 - ($200)


Motherboard: MSI Extreme Gaming Intel X99 LGA 2011 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (X99A Raider) ($269)

It could work, but money could be spent more wisely.

However, I would get the 1050 Ti Mini, scout for a cheaper case, and remove the case fans (they're good to have but not necessary).
This will allow you roughly an extra 50 bucks to spend. Use that 50 dollars towards adding an SSD for your OS (it'll help boot times for the OS and applications like Google Chrome).

Also, I'd get a wifi adapter that you can fit inside your actual desktop. Look for a PCI/PCI-E type of adapter.

If you live in the continental US, here is a better build:
