PCI-ex8_2 slot coming out of motherboard [URGENT]

Most likely you broke the contacts between the socket the PCB board. If you have a second PCIe socket on the mobo, you can use that. Otherwise, the socket/mobo is probably dead.

If you do decide to buy another motherboard, you could, as a last resort, try forcing it back into position, starting with a little force and gradually increasing it, i would not recommend doing this if you plan to keep the motherboard as you can damage it even further.

I didn't try the damaged PCI-e slot but I did manage to make space under my massive CPU cooler for the massive GPU. I should really start getting smaller parts. lol thanks for the help guys!!
