I have a product key of Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit, and I have already clean installed windows on my current PC twice already. I'm not sure about the technical limits of product key usage and windows activation if there are any.
Some Facts:
- It's an OEM version I believe since I got it online through my student education portal for cheap
- I've only used the product key on one device
- The product key is probably 4+ years old if that matters
PS: It has to be a clean install because for some reason I can't do windows reset like on my laptop, when I try the windows reset option, it asks for windows installation disk, when I do insert it, the reset option just leads to the typical clean install and I have to enter my product key all the time.
