I've got a MSI gs60 6qe, bought it used recently knowing it has a fault. just wanted advice from people before i do anything.
When i plug my laptop in it turns on, and the battery on the bottom right says it has 45%battery and that it is charging. however it never increases % and as soon as i plug it out it turns off.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling in device manager
I've tried calibrating but it says 180min till full charge but that timer never goes down.
I've pressed the reset pin button on the side
I've taken the battery out pressed power button to remove and electricity in motherboard and put it back together
Ive went into bios set it to default settings and restarted
None of these have worked as of yet.
I believe i need a new battery but im unsure and dont want to waste money when in the end its not needed.

But according to the software i used it states "Battery Wear Level: The wear level of the battery, in %
The wear level of a new battery should be around 100%, and it gradually decreases. This value is calculated according to the 'Designed Capacity' and 'Full Charged Capacity' values."
