( Advice on PC upgrade pls) will a GTX 1060 be compatible with PCIe x16 slot?

Im very new to the PC hardware stuff. I am very confused about the different memory types and slots.

I have an INTEL DB85FL motherboard.

I am planning to upgrade from my current specs, which are:

GT 520
Windows 7 ultimate 64 BIT OS
8 GB of DDR3 RAM
An i7 4770 @3.4Ghz

yes, make sure you have a decent 500w+ power supply with the proper pcie cables
