In my motherboard I have a cpu fan header and one chassis fan header which are both 4 pin. I have two fans at 0.7 amps each is it safe to have two of these connected via splitter. Otherwise how can I connect all my fans and be able to control them?

Solution
Depends on the motherboard - some of them state what is the amperage limit on headers in manual, some of them don't.
Are you sure your fans use 0.7 amp? Most fans use 0.2-0.3 amp.
And you can use fan hub to control multiple fans - they draw power directly from PSU.

A lot of Dell BTXs had 1.8A fans standard but that's Dell and they had rewired 5 pin headers. I've run fan power off of a Molex 4 pin and left the tach and PWM wires on the MB header. I've also split the single PWM wire to run a 2 motor 3.4A. fan that way. The PWM wire is just a % duty cycle signal to ground. The RPM wire can only read one fan.
