I have an gtx 750 ti and i just got an amd sapphire 7850 graphics card I have just enough room to fit them but i want to be able to run a monitor on both or be able to switch an hdmi cable and utilize the other card if i wanted.

I did install both but the nvidia as the secondary card and he sapphire as he primare i booted from the sapphire just fine but windows did not recognise the other card and the nvidia programs said the nvidia card wasn't detected.

i rebooted the pc with the hdmi in the nvidia card and it opted for the sapphire card. i took out the sapphire one and the nvidia booted fine off the one i want. but seems as if the pc isn't recognising the card properly. im going to try reinstalling drivers to see if that helps.

sorry for grammar issues there's terrible interference with my keyboard mouse combo.

An AMD GPU & an Nvidia GPU in the same system ? - - No chance of getting this to work, you've got driver & resource conflicts going on here. Decide which of the two you want to use, then take the other one out. Hopefully you'll read this before you've started re-installing the drivers because that's a big part of the problem.

Clean out all graphics drivers, install only the drivers for the card you decide to use (use the Nvidia one is my recommendation).

You don't need two graphics cards to run two monitors anyway, the 750 Ti alone supports up to four monitors.
